Here it is: my comprehensive list of everything I need to do by the end of August in order to be ready to move out of Boston and fly home to Vernon for three weeks before I move to Rennes for eight months. It will be lurking at the top of my journal until the end of August, and spawning (hopefully) daily spinoffs.

So, this morning I sallied forth into the knee-deep remains of yesterday's snowstorm and went to campus. The first thing that happened was that I got my hair caught in a weighted-down branch in Oak Square, as I was attempting to avoid another large fallen branch blocking my path, but fortunately, I was able to disentangle myself and carry on.
